Pogo Pins, or Spring Loaded Contacts are popular for Intelligent wearable device|Sports Bracelet|industrial control devices|Vehicle navigation and dring recorder|bluetooth earphone|Medical device|Pets locator|Handheld data device|inspection instruments.
Pogo pins consisting of a plunger (or head), barrel (or body), and a fully encapsulated fine spring, to provide the spring force support to maintain positive contact.
And it has a nice lifecycle exceeding 10,000 mating cycles.
This connection type is a surface-to-surface connection that it need a gold plated for good contact.
The connector system would be held together against the spring force by other systems built into the equipment itself, such as locking toggles or sprung hinges.
Pogo pins can be PCB mount or cable amount, due to its structure, all sizes can be customized without any addational tooling cost.
Pogo pins can also be assembled with a plastics body to form as a fixed picth of pogo connectors that it can bring a standard picth of connector.
